Scope of
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the continued development of the Outdoor Education Program. Responsibilities include both Leadership, utilizing teambuilding, ropes and climbing wall, and Environmental Education. Candidate will be expected to facilitate teambuilding activities including, ropes (both high and low) and climbing programs. Responsible for teaching environmental education programs. Assist with weekend adventure programming and further development of all programs. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in environmental education, general education, recreation, or equivalent education experience. Course work towards a degree may also be acceptable. Ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with at least one year of experience facilitating Outdoor Education Programs. Candidate must possess the ability to perform moderate physical activity, adapt to changing work conditions, work with diverse groups of people, and work with minimal supervision. Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people are required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
